Principal Mrs. Eira Kasper Gave a Talk on New Curriculum Reform to Principals

No.2 High School of Jinan 2006-11-27

On the morning of Oct.26, hosted by Mr.Chen Dongshen, vice director of Jinan Education Bureau, Mrs.Eira Kasper, principal from our sister school Vaskivuori Upper Secondary School, gave a talk on new curriculum reform to more than 70 principals.
Mrs Eira Kasper firstly showed a video produced by her school on friendly exchanges between the two schools named From silk road to digital country. The video reminded us of cultural communications, and the history of our friendship since2003 from the viewpoint of Principal Eira Kasper ,Mr. Jukka Lehtinen (honorary teacher of our school ,who once taught music for one month in our school ),and Anna( former visiting student).They spoke highly of our friendship. When Mr. Jukka Lehtinen recalled the experience in China ,all the leaders and the teachers present gave him a big hand.
And then, Mrs Eira Kasper introduced the curriculum reform in Finland. She talked about the teaching staff in Vaskivuori Upper Secondary School, modules, evaluation to the teachers and advice on how to give necessary help to the teachers’ development. Finally, she had a heated discussion with the teachers present. Everyone at the meeting benefited a lot .
