No.2 High School of Jinan 2006-11-27
On the afternoon of October
27, Mr. Fu Lei, principal of our school negotiated with Eira Kasper
about further cooperation and communication in the future.
Both sides thought we have got to know each other since the two schools
signed the sister-school relationship. In this process, we had a deep
understanding of the two countries, cultures and education. Both the
teachers and the students benefited a lot from it.
As for the further cooperation, Mrs Eira Kasper thought we should strengthen
students¡¯ communication and the curriculum cooperation besides the communication
of teachers and administrative personnel as well as the exchanges. For
example, when referring to the other side¡¯s historical teaching, students
can communicate through e-mail to have a deep understanding. Moreover,
at present, her school has added media education besides music and fine
arts. An on-line magazine has also been started in the hope that Chinese
students provide English articles to carry on the exchange. In addition,
they will hold the Chinese week, invite related personnel to give lectures
and open Chinese optional courses etc.
Mr. Fu Lei thought the curriculum cooperation has the practical significance
for the bilateral cooperation. Under the request of curriculum reform,
the curriculum is divided into three levels---the country, the place
and the school curriculum. Both sides may strive for more cooperation
space on the school curriculum. We may first attempt at the students¡¯
optional courses. At the same time, it is possible to exchange teachers
between the two countries. As with the exchange content, we may add
the exchange of students¡¯ artworks. As with the exchange form, we may
let students know more about other countries through the Internet besides
the exchanging visit.
In the end, both sides wish for a long-lasting friendship!
