Foreign Teacher Mr. Jukka Lehtinen Gave Demonstration
Lecture on Vocal Music Teaching

No.2 High School of Jinan 2004-11-3

At 1:00 AM on November 2nd, 2004, Mr. Jukka Lehtinen, forgien teacher of Jinan No.2 High School, gave an excellent demonstration lecture on vocal music teaching to more than 300 music teachers from the city of Jinan.
After introducing the music teaching in Finland to the music teachers, Mr. Jukka Lehtinen directed the Students' Chorus of the school to practise listening, speaking , singing and dancing, which enabled them to gain a rich experience of art and sentiment in a pleasant situation .The Finnish teacher's advanced teaching theory, scientific training skills, as well as the student-centered and encouraging teaching method won excited applauses from the audience. All the teachers present sang high praise for this lecture. After the lecture, many teachers communicated cheerfully with Mr. Jukka Lehtinen on the teaching topics they were interested in. A lot of teachers expressed their wishes to invite him to go to teach in their schools , meanwhile, many music teachers stayed behind and waited more than 3 hours to appreciate wonderful the performance by the student chorus instructed by Mr. Jukka Lehtinen.
