Provincial vice secretary Wang Xiuzhi inspected the preparations of the NMET and the Zhongkao

No.2 High School of Jinan 2003-6-6

    3:00p.m.on June 6th, Provincial vice secretary Wang Xiuzhi accompanied by the leader of provincial education department QiTao, civil vice secretary of Jinan Xu Changyu, vice mayor Liu Yindao, the leader of the civil education department LiuYuangang, and the leader of the civil police Meng Fuqiang,etc, inspected the preparations of the NMET in our school. Wang inspected the preventive material preparations of the SARS, listened to the working reports made by the president Ma Baoshan and the leader of the civil education department Liu Yuangang and inspected the process of the NMET work.. Wang sang highly for the work of our school, pointing that Jinan No.2 Middle School really did a good job for the NMET during the period of SARS prevention, providing a good examination surroundings for the examinees.

    Wang Xiuzhi said, “There’re three changes of the NMET this year compared with the last: one is that the time is advanced by one month, under which circumstances there are many things to get accustomed to; one is that the NMET is during an important time of the SARS prevention. Although we have achieved the triumph momently, it is far from satisfaction, in this case, we have much additional work to do; another is the number of the examinees got larger, totally 53,000,000 all around the province, which is the second largest in Shandong history and the largest all over the country. Compared with last year, the number increased by 7,000,000. So more work come from so many examinees, plus the requirement of the SARS prevention. Aiming at these new circumstances, all the related departments should think much of the NMET of this year, considering every aspects and emphasizing particularly on the overall situation, and organize the NMET carefully.

     He emphasized that there were three aspects to do well: one is to continuously enforce the SARS prevention work during the NMET; one is to maintain the order well; the last is to create good social surroundings for the examination.
